In 160 pages of A4 describes the history of development of this variant of the T-34 tank, which arose primarily due to increased combat values. The reader learns about various experiments with the installation of larger caliber guns and related tower adjustments.
Obviously there are chapters on the combat deployment with descriptions of major battles in which was deployed each T-34/85 version. The author of the text, Milan Kopecký, present also the special versions of the T-34/85 and also its direct successor, the T-44 tank. Most of the text is intended for the war period and post-war stage is mentioned only in passing, as it is a material for a separate publication.
The book contains a number of unique historical photographs as well as detail photos of the individual T-34/85 versions that will be very useful to modellers.
