The HAF 339 Sqn F-4Ε "Peace Icarus 2000" at Andravida are now Phantoms of a new generation. Their pilots swear it is the best version of this classic fighter flying anywhere in the world.
The F-4Ε's unrivalled profile is further enhanced by the ghost camouflage scheme, while the 2 AΜRAAM (sometimes 4) and the 4 Sidewinders leave no doubt about its killer instincts.

This magnificent painting by Kostas Kavvathias portrays the "ghost riders" of 339 in their natural habitat, doing their stuff, above the clouds. A very nice detail is the squadron emblem of the 339 Sqn "AJAX".
